Thanks for reading this information on what is our favourite tour every year. It’s the real deal when it comes to golfing paradise and there’s plenty of activities for non- players. As you can see in the picture below over 60 people played in the 2016 International Golf Week and everyone had a ball playing world class golf courses that don’t beat you up, enjoyed a fun but competitive tournament, five-star beachfront hotels, fantastic climate and best of all meet some fun people along the way.

The 2017 tour kicks off on the Big Island of Hawaii which is a 30-minute flight from Honolulu. On arrival at Kona airport you take a short drive along the Kohala Coast where you will find some of the finest resort golf courses and beach front accommodation anywhere in the world and the temperature is perfect all year round.

Accommodation for the first seven nights is at the fabulous five star Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel at the iconic Mauna Kea Resort, you will enjoy large ocean view rooms and breakfast is included every day.

We have put together a golf tournament that everyone will enjoy regardless of their golf ability, it’s called the International Golf Week, everyone has a chance to win prizes in the different handicap divisions and for the low handicap players there will also be a scratch competition.

As many people will have had a full days travel to get to Hawaii, the first day of the tour will be a practice round at Hapuna Beach course, the practice facilities will be available all day and PGA professionals will be running free golf clinics and individual lessons for anyone that needs some fine tuning before the four 4 round tournament starts.

So if you take up the challenge and join us for this event, you will play five world class courses in six days, enjoy great company and compete with people from different countries, plus you have the opportunity to win excellent prizes and most of all, have great golfing experience lots of fun and a few cocktails at one of the best locations anywhere. Then after the tournament it’s time for some R&R and somewhere completely different in Waikiki.

The Hotel

Accommodation for the seven nights of this event is at the fabulous Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel at Mauna Kea Resort. Situated on 32 oceanfront acres, the hotel is nestled in natural bluffs overlooking the silky white sands of Hapuna Beach. In ancient times on the resort site, freshwater springs bubbled to the surface during heavy rainfall. These artesian fountains provided respite and renewal for travellers along the Kohala Coast, hence, the area is named Hāpuna or “spring” (“Spring of life”) in the Hawaiian language. Your accommodation has been reserved in ocean view rooms and daily breakfast is included.

Two of the great courses you will play during the tournament are located within Mauna Kea Resort. The 18-hole championship Hapuna Golf Course designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay features stunning ocean views from almost every hole. Next door is the course that set the bench mark of golf in Hawaii, the Robert Trent Jones, Sr.-designed masterpiece Mauna Kea is still considered by many as the best in Hawaii.

After seven nights at the beautifully peaceful Mauna Kea Resort and five rounds of golf it’s time to take a short flight to back to Honolulu on the island of Oahu and spend four nights at the amazing Hilton Hawaiian Village.

After a couple days R & R you will be in for a treat with a round of golf at the famous Ko’olina Golf Course, arguably Oahu’s best course and always in pristine condition. You’ve probably seen this course on TV as it is the venue for the annual LPGA Lotte Championship. For those who wish to play more golf during our time on Oahu there are a number of other excellent courses close by.

World Class Golf Courses

Hawaii is without doubt the golf resort capital of the world. “Hawaii Island”, known as the big island, is a 30 minute flight from Honolulu and has many of the best courses in Hawaii, designed by some of the greatest names in golf. There are seven world class courses within 15 minutes’ drive from the fantastic Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel at Mauna Kea Resort and you will play the best four of these courses in this tournament.

Mauna Lani, South Course

The 15th hole is one of the most photographed golf holes in the world. This fantastic course was host to famous skins game when some of the world’s greatest players went head to head for huge sums of money. The course is one of Hawaii’s best and always in great condition.

Mauna Lani, North Course

The sister of the south course, has big wide manicured fairways that meander their way through the black lava rock. This is a true championship layout and is the venue for the Hawaii State Open, bring your camera this is a beauty.

Hapuna Beach

The Arnold Palmer / Ed Seay design is one of the most interesting courses you will play anywhere. A links style design with the first nine holes climbing from sea level to 700 feet. Amazing layout with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean from every hole.

Mauna Kea

The Robert Trent Jones Sr design that set the benchmark for golf in Hawaii and is still considered by many to be Hawaii’s best course.  World renowned ocean front holes, magnificent bunkering and finely manicured fairways, a true masterpiece.
