Competitions

As with most golf tours there will be a fair number of side bets taking place. There will be separate competition for every round on the tour and to give everyone a chance of winning we will adopt a special handicapping procedure.

Handicaps - Everyone will play the first round of the tour on their normal club handicap, after each round players will be re-handicapped down or up depending on their previous day’s score. The maximum handicap movement will be 2 strokes a day.

The betting fund (prize pool) - there will be prize pool set up with all players expected to put in (500 Bhat) $20 a day. Daily prize money will be for first, second and third stableford and the best gross.

Calcutta - There will be a Calcutta held in conjunction with final round at Nikanti Country Club. The format for the Calcutta will be a team’s ball best ball stableford. Once the draw is completed the teams will be auctioned.

The tournament will be run by Richard Ellis and his Pacific Golf Management team. Pacific Golf has over 25 years in golf event management and organises some of the largest pro-am and amateur tournaments in Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii and the Pacific Islands.
