Gulf Harbour Country Club, is one of New Zealand’s best international golf courses and was the venue for the 1998 World Cup of Golf & two New Zealand Golf Opens.
This is a limited opportunity for amateurs to play with some of the Legends of professional golf.
The “Legends” Senior Pro-Am golf circuit in Australasia has grown in leaps and bounds over the past five years and in 2018 will have over 50 tournaments in Australia, New Zealand, Samoa, Fiji & New Caledonia.
Regular players on the legends tour include former major winners Ian Baker Finch, Wayne Grady, Sir Bob Charles, household names of golf such as Peter Senior, Simon Owen, Rodger Davis, Peter O’Malley and Peter Fowler.
This tournament will see leading professionals from USA, Asia, Australia and New Zealand compete.
As an official event on the PGA Legends Tour the event is assured of many of the best professionals competing.
This event is played with 5 players in each group (2 pros & 3 amateurs) there will be only 20 groups, so 40 professionals team up with 60 amateurs. The 40 pros will be from the Australasian PGA Legends tour and the amateurs will be invited guests of the event sponsors plus a maximum of 39 other spaces available.
The tournament will be played over 36 holes, 2 rounds at Gulf Harbour Country Club
All play will be in carts each day.
Food & drinks is included daily during the round.
Players will receive a tournament gift pack which will include a logo event polo & cap
Teams will comprise of 2 professionals and 3 amateurs.(5 players per group)
The amateur team members play together both rounds and will be joined by different pro’s each day.
There will be a pro-am team’s Stableford and team’s Gross competition.
There will also be an individual amateur competition.
Professionals will play a 36 hole stroke competition.

All entries must be on the official entry form and limited to the first 39 received. All amateurs must have an official handicap.
