With the borders still shut for the foreseeable future and many of our regular clients crying out for some competitive golf at excellent golf courses, we have put together a tour and tournament to be played at the four best golf courses in Christchurch. Accommodation is at the Novotel Cathedral Square which is one of Christchurch’s best hotels located in the town centre and close to all the best restaurants and new shopping complexes. We will play a fun but competitive stableford tournament and have limited the numbers to 36 golfers.
During this trip you will play the best four courses in Christchurch, possibly a couple of gems you have heard little about.
One of New Zealand’s best courses, the par-72 championship course was home to the NZ Women's Open from 2013 to 2016. It was also the former home to both the BMW New Zealand Open and the New Zealand PGA Championship.
Is a beautiful parkland style 18-hole championship course about 30 minutes’ drive north of Christchurch city centre. The course is very underrated and once you play it, you will recommend it to all your friends as a must play. It has already hosted several top professional tournaments.
One of New Zealand’s most prestigious golf courses and a great test of golf. The course has hosted 11 NZ Opens plus the World Amateur Championship. Make sure you take time to look at the Sir Bob Charles gallery in the clubhouse including the clubs Sir Bob used to win the 1963 British Open.
Make no mistake with the name old course, the recent renovation and rebuild including 18 new greens and all new tees makes this one of the South Island’s best golf courses.
The Hotel

The tournament will be a stableford competition with daily and overall prizes.
Before play at Harewood, Pegasus and Clearwater, range balls will be available, and we will run a free professional clinic for those in need of some fine tuning.
Carts are included at all golf courses; however, Shirley only have 16 carts and Harewood 11 so we will be asking some of the fittest people to walk at these courses, trundlers will be supplied. (there are no hills at Christchurch golf courses).
